Bahama Mama Cocktail
The Bahama mama is a tropical cocktail made of rum and pineapple juice
Ingredients:
2 oz./60 ml Dark Rum
1 oz./30 ml Light Rum
2 oz./60 ml Orange Juice
1 oz./30 ml Coconut rum
0.5 oz./15 ml Lemon Juice
Ice cubes
Orange segment to serve
Directions:
Pour all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake well.
Pour the cocktail in a glass and garnish with the orange segment
Bloody Mary
The Bloody Mary is commonly used as a hangover cure, but is actually a fabulous cocktail containing heart healthy tomato juice served with a celery stalk.
Ingredients:
4 oz/120 ml Tomato Juice
1.5 oz/45 ml Vodka
Ice cubes
Ground black pepper
Pinch of salt
To serve:
Stalk of celery
Lemon segment
Directions:
Use a tall glass to build the ingredients. Start by adding the ice cubes, pour in the Vodka and tomato juice.
Add the salt and pepper and stir.
Garnish with the celery and lemon wedge
Blue Hawaii
The Blue Hawaii is the ultimate tropical drink thanks to it’s distinct blue color.
Ingredients:
0.5 oz/15 ml Light rum
0.5 oz/15 ml Blue Curacao
0.5 oz/15 ml Dark rum
1 oz/15 ml Pineapple juice
1 oz/15 ml Orange juice
1 oz/15 Sweet & Sour
Ice Cubes
To serve:
Pineapple segment
Red Cherry
Cocktail umbrella (optional, but fun)
Directions:
Pour all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake well.
Serve in a glass with the pineapple segment and red Cherry
Cosmopolitan Recipe
The Cosmopolitan was the signature drink of the Sex and the City girls. It’s definitely a stylish cocktail, so serve this when having a night with the girls.
Ingredients:
1.5 oz/45 ml Vodka
2 oz/60 ml Cranberry Juice
1 oz/30 ml Triple sec
Lemon twist to serve
Directions:
Add ingredients to cocktail shaker and shake well
Pour in a martini glass and serve with the lemon twist
Pina Colada
The Pina Colada is the national drink of Puerto Rico. It’s a very luxurious cocktail (high caloric content) so enjoy this once in a while as a treat.
Ingredients:
2 oz/60 ml Pineapple juice
1 oz/30 ml White rum
2 oz/60 ml Coconut cream
1 tsp brown sugar
Crushed ice
Pineapple slice and red cherry to serve.
Directions:
Pour the coconut cream, pineapple juice and white rum into a blender or shaker with the crushed ice, and blend or shake very well until smooth.
Pour into a tall glass, garnish with pineapple wedge and the cherry.
